Well, i made a cosplay of Connor Kenway from Assassin's Creed III and this is my tomahawk!
I made the head in steel and the handle with a branch of a tree, decorated and added the feather,beads and pieces of sintetic leather!

The thing I want to know is will it cut down a tree? Granted maybe a very small tree but still will it cut down a tree?

well,I took a branch of a tree that was cut because he was dead! if you find a branch it's good! you don't need to cut off an entire tree!

Yeah hatchets are made more for quick limbings of trees but if you need to make another handle for the tomahawk using say part of an already dead tree trunk. Could the tomahawk do that? It doesn't have to be a living tree.
